Recruitment means handling personal information, and I take that responsibility seriously. This notice explains what data I process when you contact me or apply for a role, why, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
Matúš Durčiak, freelance IT recruitment consultant, Bratislava, Slovakia. Contact: matus@matusdurciak.com or jobs@matusdurciak.com.
What data I process
- Information you send me: name, contact details, CV, LinkedIn profile, salary expectations and notes from our conversations.
- Publicly available professional information, for example your LinkedIn profile, when I approach you about a relevant role.
Why and on what legal basis
- To match you with suitable job opportunities and represent you to potential employers, based on your consent and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To contact professionals about relevant roles, based on my legitimate interest in providing recruitment services.
Who I share it with
I share your profile with a prospective employer only after you have agreed to be presented for that specific role. I do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.
How long I keep it
I keep candidate data for up to 24 months after our last contact so I can let you know about relevant opportunities, unless you ask me to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask me at any time to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. Just email me. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR).
